Spyderco FB05PGY Temperance Lightweight Sprint Run Fixed Blade Knife 4.46″ CPM-CruWear Satin Plain Blade

Crafted by Spyderco co-founder Sal Glesser, the Temperance represents one of the brand’s earliest fixed blade designs. Now, this iconic model returns as a limited-edition Sprint Run, sporting a gray fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle and a full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade constructed from CPM-CruWear. Engineered for superior wear resistance and toughness, CruWear’s advanced alloy composition is further optimized through the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, ensuring an ultra-fine, uniform grain structure. True to its roots, the knife’s ergonomic handle is directly molded onto the tang of the blade, featuring bilateral “dimples” for enhanced grip and maneuverability. This exceptional revival of the Temperance comes complete with a custom-molded Boltaron sheath, featuring a versatile G-Clip attachment.

Sprint Runs: A Spyderco Sprint Run is defined as a limited edition production of any Spyderco product in a configuration different than what has been previously produced. It can include changes in the handle color, materials, blade steel, coatings, etc. The quantity of each Sprint Run is generally 600 or 1,200 pieces, which is determined by Spyderco.
