The Guardian Tactical Recon-035 sets the industry standard for OTG Automatics a lot higher.  With its patented OTF mechanism, opening and closing this blade is significantly smoother and very strong.  Their new locking mechanism doesn’t touch the blade in motion thereby reducing friction and wear.  The thumb slide utilizes a steel plate and ceramic balls to eliminate typical OTF wear on the aluminum handle.

Guardian Tactical’s patented OTF mechanism provides smooth, responsive opening action. The unique thumb slide design is separated from the aluminum handle by a steel plate and 3 ceramic balls that eliminate grinding and wear. An innovative locking mechanism sits off to the side of the blade channel so it doesn’t drag against the blade when opening and closing.
