Gransfors Hickory Handle for 480 Broad Axe (480H)
Gransfors Axe handles have been designed by Hans Erik Persson. The handle has an ergonomic design that gives a firm and comfortable grip.
Gransfors Bruk Axe Handles are made from select, high quality American hickory. Each replacement axe handle is soaked in hot linseed oil and coated with beeswax to make it more resistant to dirt and water. Wood and Steel wedges are included with each handle.
The majority of the handles are made of the wood type Hickory which is strong and flexible. The shafts are impregnated with warm linseed oil and beeswax, which increases the quality of the shafts.
